The Chibite Collection!

Chibites are my own range of small figurines featuring characters from a variety of different video games.

The name 'Chibite' comes from a combination of the words 'Chibi' and 'Sprite' because their design is a combination of the two 'styles'.

I was originally inspired by the map sprites for characters in Fire Emblem: Awakening. I was really enjoying the game and wanted to make some of the characters, but was already working on a large project featuring more complex models. So I decided to draw up designs based on the way the characters looked in their map sprites.

After drawing up a few characters, I thought that the style might work well for some other games, and thus the Chibite range was born!

I was planning on uploading the character art for each figurine on this one page as a sort of 'catalogue' but realised it would make for one very long, very cluttered page. So instead I have split the designs up into 'collections', each with it's own blog post.

Each character has their name underneath, and if it is in red, then I have not made a figurine for that character yet. If I have made the figurine, then clicking on the artwork will show a photo of the figurine that matches it.
