Keyring Kollection

... I'm starting to regret titling this 'Keyring Kollection' already XD

But anyhow, I'm back! Not that I've really been anywhere, but as always it feels like I haven't updated in a thousand years.

I've got another post coming up detailing a few new projects and such, but this one is just to show off the new stuff I actually have finished right now.

Seeing as Christmas is now a billion years away, I decided to switch from Christmas decorations to keyrings! I went with the circular face style I used for the felt decorations I made, as I felt that it as keyrings, you don't really want lots of fiddly little parts that might break off and such if you decide to actually...well use a keyring as a keyring!

Dragon Quest Slime, Final Fantasy Cactuar, Mario Goomba and
Kirby and a Waddle Dee from...well Kirby.

Animal Crossing Keyrings - Isabelle, Digby, Tom Nook, Celeste,
Cyrus, Leif, Redd and Mabel
They're a little out of focus because I couldn't use the flash on my camera, as they're varnished so they end up looking like this otherwise -

Shiiiny.
I have once again, exhausted most of my clay supply [well the black/white/brown at least], but once I restock I may be making a few of these to go in my shop.

As a bonus, you can take a look at the design pages I made for these keyrings. I still have a lot of designs I haven't made yet!

A mixed bag this lot!

It's been a bit hectic here, what with my boyfriend looking for a job, possibly having to move, then him getting a job where we didn't have to move afterall, but once that was all over I could get back to my beloved Polymer Clay and get making again!

...Soooo I made a load more christmas decorations... I don't think our tree will be big enough to hold all of them!

I have got a list of ideas of video game characters to make and other figurines, but I'm holding off on starting anything really substantial until the new year, when I'll have a little more money and won't be distracted by cool things like HALLOWEEN and CHRISTMAS! Sqwee.

Anyway, I have been making a few things, I decided to focus on making some smaller decorations, but they'd be in sets of 4 [or 5 in one case]. Anyway enough chatting, more pictures!

Christmas Themed Kirbys! Rudolph kirby had an antler accident... And I love Chilly. So much. Chilly is love. Probably my favourite Helper ever.

Pacman! And ghosts. Originally only ghosts.... but then it felt weird with no Pacman... so they got a slightly wonky looking pacman to join them.

Kingdom Hearts Heartless - The Music Quartet... I have no idea what they should actually be collectively called... I just loved the 4 colour idea, and I've always found these guys pretty cute... even if their tendency to fly around and be annoying is frustrating XD They do have little legs, but they're not glued on yet, cause then they wouldn't be able to stand like this for a photo...

Animal Crossing Snow Family... They looked so easy... But I had to make sure they were the perfect size or they'd be SAD. Plus they required a lot of sanding and buffing to keep them nice and white.

Animal Crossing Jingle the Reindeer. He's a REINDEER. Automatically I love him. He does have his presents sack, but it's white so... you can't see it!

Dragon Quest Slimes. These were... not exactly a challenge. But Slimes! So cute. Making the metal slime though... I had the twinkliest hands ever. Took forever for it to all come off. I think everything on my desk is now also slightly silvery. *sigh*

Aaaand that's all for now. I might be making a few things to go in the shop, I'm not sure yet, but I do know that October is dedicated to non-gaming Halloween figurines so I won't have time to make too much else.

Toodles!
